LO5 - Final pieces

"Reflection Perfection"
This photograph depicts a reflection of a field in a city window. This is meant to connote how Sheffield is the greenest city in Europe. I made an image of a window reflecting a countryside view because I wanted to give the idea of nature and the city working alongside one another.

"Citree"
In this piece I wanted to connote how Sheffield is tied in with its natural surroundings. Greenery is everywhere in the city, and I wanted to capture that idea in this photograph.

"Flowers and Towers"
In this image, I wanted to put across the connotation that nature is very important to Sheffield and is a big part of the city's identity. We care about the environment, and would like to keep our status as greenest city in Europe.

"Treehouses"
The connotation I wanted this image to have is the idea that our city is only tiny compared to the importance of the nature around us. We depend on it, and this piece describes that.

"Root of the City"
This piece signifies our bases in history, making us remember that Sheffield was built on natural land. Instead of completely destroying all of it, however, we have developed around the nature, preserving it and making it part of the city itself.
